Our one-handed door latch assembly was born out of a customers concern related to loading product for their vacuum process application. They needed a way to securely and easily open and close their chamber with only one hand.
The custom configuration joins the two latch point cams on a common axle and sping loads a return of the latching bar, thus enabling easy unlatching and opening of the solid acrylic door.
The one-handed latch assembly can be fitted to most vacuum chambers and systems. For chambers and systems that have a limited footprint, check out our side loading vacuum chamber with a vertical sliding door or our top-loading vacuum chamber with lateral sliding door.
