Abbess thermal plates are used to heat and cool articles under test through conduction. These plates are alternatively known as hot plates, thermal plates, or hot/cold plates. Our plates through the use of a serpentine copper loop which use gases or liquids, such as syltherm fluid or liquid nitrogen, to alter the temperature or keep it at a set point. The thermal plate is controlled by PID temperature Controller integrated into the Process Control Enclosure. The Process Control Enclosure contains components necessary for controlling the system as well as logic and interfaces for the Thermal Vacuum Cycle Controller. Status Indicators within the Process Control Enclosure provide visual indication of the systems status. The PC Touchscreen Computer contains Abbess customized DAQ Factory program interface: test environment automation and data logging integrates control and monitoring of the thermal vacuum system other components.

PLATE DESIGN with 2 coil Copper thermal exchange tubes in Copper Thermal Plate with 4″x 4″ threaded holes, with optional 25 pin “D” electronic ports, TC type K feedthrus, lights, cart, pump, filters/traps and windows. Optional Gold plated copper or aluminum plates offer better thermal connections and corrosion resistance.
