This 48 inch cube system allows items placed inside to be exposed to vacuum down to 10^-7 Torr. A Vacuum Cycle Controller (VCC) is used to automate control functions. The VCC enables system monitoring and control of the thermal vacuum chamber via touch screen buttons and graphic indications of sensor data registered and controlled by a PC with a user-specific Graphical User Interface (GUI). The system can be further customized to realize robust data logging capabilities.
Unique Features:
Heated/Cooled Thermal Plate —Plated Copper Thermal Plate with engaged cartridge heating elements and refrigerant tubing, T-Cpl monitored and controlled via Temperature Controller in communication with the Touchscreen PC Integrated Controller.
Thermal Shroud —Plated Copper surfaces remaining of a ―thermal cube‖ with engaged cartridge heating elements and refrigerant tubing, separately T-Cpl monitored and controlled via Temperature Controller in communication with the Touchscreen PC Integrated Controller.
Process Control Enclosure – Contains component necessary for controlling the system as well as logic and interfaces for the Vacuum Cycle Controller.
Pressure Gauge Controller (See manufacturer specific documentation). Status Indicators – Providing visual indication of system status. Vacuum Cycle Controller – Touch Screen GUI/PC Controller, Control input interface to manage Thermal Vacuum Settings (i.e. Vacuum Level and Duration, Temperature Profile).
